The new star of Clarkson’s Farm Harriet Cowan has revealed she’s been driving tractors since she was about 12-years-old.
The former NHS nurse and farming extraordinaire put Jeremy Clarkson through his paces during her on screen appearance in the latest season of the show.
And the 24-year-old has now made a shock revelation as to why she is so skilled behind the wheel of a tractor.

The farmhand from Belper, near Derby, has admitted she began driving them from the age of about 12.
With over a decade of experience it is now clear why the youngster was so adept to farm life.
Harriet made the shock revelation during a question and answer session with her 500,000 social media fans.
Posting her replies on Instagram the star was flooded with questions on Monday (30 Jun), as reported by What’s The Jam.
The question posed by a follower stated: “How many years have you been farming?”

To which Harriet responded with: “Lived on a farm my whole life but been driving tractors from around 12.”
The Government currently states that agricultural tractors have an age limit of 16 to 17 depending on distance driven and size of vehicle.
Kids aged 13 and over can drive one under certain conditions, according to the Health and Safety Executive.

The farmhand has enjoyed her time in the spotlight ever since she replaced fan favourite Kaleb Cooper for a portion of season four.
The 24-year-old was also very open about her experiences in nursing where she admitted she preferred farming to life on the ward.
When asked: “If you had to choose between farming and the NHS which one would you choose?”
The farmhand replied with a video of her in the tractor stating: “I mean there’s not much beating this.”
