An autographed copy of the lyrics to Don McLean’s classic hit American Pie is on sale for £121,000.
The eight pages are hand written in blue pen.
They were scrawled on head notepaper bearing the singer’s name at the top.

The musician’s original manuscript was previously sold at auction in 2015 for a staggering £940,000.
But this replica, still carrying Don’s authentic signature, carries an ever-so-slightly less dizzying price tag, reports What’s The Jam.
The piece of American pop memorabilia is available to snap up through the auction site Moments In Time, a US-based autograph dealer.
The eight pages of handwritten lyrics are already worth a few bob and if kept in tip top condition could be worth even more in years to come.
Famed all over the world, the tune was recorded by the now 78-year-old in 1971.
