John Lennon’s old belt buckle is set to sell for an eye-watering £35,000.
The Beatles legend wore it throughout the 1970’s.
The bespoke buckle is shaped like an eagle.
It has turquoise encrusted stones on it.

The buckle doesn’t come with a belt.

However, the listing comes with a handwritten note from Lennon, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The Fab Four star, who was assassinated in 1980 wrote the note to Spence Berland, VP of ‘Record World Magazine’.
It reads “To Spence, Belt Up!”

It is dated back to 1974.
The signed page has been affixed to a paper backing.
The buckle is expected to rake in a staggering £35,000 at the Omega Auctions sale tomorrow (26 Mar).

Other bizarre items in the sale include a pair of windows from George Harrison’s 1964 E-Type Jaguar.
Harrison famously proposed to Patty Boyd in this car on 24 December 1965.
The windows are expected to sell for £1,500.
A series of tapes that feature “never before heard” personal tapes from Ringo Starr are expected to sell for £20,000.
The tapes are thought to be from a 1966 Beatles Tour.
The listing reads: “All three contain recordings made by Ringo Starr, likely on a personal tape recorder, of various events throughout (mostly) 1966. All recordings have very likely never before been published.
”Approx 248 minutes of recordings across the tapes.
“At one point Ringo describes the tapes as ‘a talking record of our trip to Germany and Japan’.”
A signed copy of The Beatles, Please Please Me vinyl is also expected to rake in £22,000 at the auction in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside.
