This is the shocking moment a man flings open a bar door – only for the glass panel to suddenly shatter into pieces.
The bizarre mishap was caught on camera at Kahiki, a live music and cocktail bar in Chester, on Thursday (28 August).
Footage shows the man approaching the entrance before forcefully pulling open the door, as reported by Whats The Jam.

But moments later, the glass gives way and sends shards crashing to the floor.
The stunned man is left standing in the doorway still clutching the handle as he appears to process what has just happened.
Footage of the unfortunate blunder has since gone viral on social media, racking up more than 769,000 views and 12,600 likes.
And amused viewers wasted no time cracking jokes about the smashing mishap.
