An influencer has sparked backlash after appearing to “run a 5K” while standing on his seat during a World Cup match, leaving nearby supporters struggling to watch the game.
Jacob Abrams Cohen filmed himself completing one of his trademark fitness challenges during the Group C clash between Morocco and Haiti in Atlanta.
The content creator, who has nearly 300,000 Instagram followers, regularly attempts to “run” five kilometres in unusual locations, including inside a fridge, while getting a tattoo and even inside a sofa.

But his latest stunt has proved one of his most controversial yet, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Footage shows Jacob repeatedly spinning around on his stadium seat while tracking the distance on his fitness app until it reached the 5,000-metre mark.
As he completed the challenge, he repeatedly bumped into nearby spectators.
One supporter sitting beside him laughed after being knocked by the influencer.
Jacob later declared: “5K in the seat of the World Cup game is complete.

The clip quickly divided opinion online.
Many football fans criticised the stunt, arguing supporters had paid huge sums for tickets and deserved to enjoy the match without disruption.
One person said: “This is really dumb. Why is it funny to disrupt everyone else’s experience?”

Another added: “I would HATE to be in a seat around you. How annoying while people are trying to watch the game.”
A third wrote: “Not funny mate, people pay big money for these tickets.”
Someone else commented: “Could never try that in England.”

However, other viewers praised the influencer’s commitment, saying: “I don’t care what anyone says – this dude is committed.”
Another person, who got to see the stunt in live, wrote: “This made my World Cup experience 10x better haha (we sat literally two seats apart guys lol).”
Another user joked simply: “Aura.”
