Milu, a black cat from Aguanil in Minas Gerais, Brazil, has gone viral on Instagram for his food-bowl predictions.
Owner Natan Pinheiro sets out bowls labelled with the possible outcomes and Milu chooses one by eating from it.
Remarkably, despite their allegiance to the Brazil national side, the clairvoyant cat first called a draw between Brazil and Morocco in their Group C opener.
The game ended 1-1.
He then accurately predicted Brazil’s victory over Haiti.

For the decisive group match against Scotland, Milu selected the Brazil victory bowl, correctly foreseeing their decisive victory.
In a fourth prediction, Milu chose Spain over Uruguay in their encounter on 27 June.
He has now controversially selected Argentina as the next big scalp to be eliminated from this year’s tournament.

And pre-empting Brazil’s knockout fixture against Norway on 5 July, the football-loving feline believes his home country will progress to the quarter-finals.
Videos of Milu’s effective ritual have racked up millions of views, with fans hailing the cat as more reliable than most pundits.
One follower joked: “Trust the national team? No. Trust the cat? Yes.”
Milu has previously gained attention for predictions in domestic Brazilian football and even reality TV, as reported by Whats The Jam.
The black cat’s streak has turned him into an unlikely star of the World Cup, proving once again that in football, anything – even a whiskered prophet – is possible.
