A psychic seal has made her latest World Cup prediction and she’s backing England to march into the next round.

Mystic marine mammal Aayla has been tipped to predict the outcome of each Three Lions match by choosing between flags representing England and their opponents.

And so far her record has been impressive.

The animal oracle correctly backed England to beat Croatia 4-2 and Panama 2-0.

She also predicted a Three Lions victory over Ghana, although that match ended in a goalless draw, as reported by Whats The Jam.

Ahead of England’s knockout clash with DR Congo, Aayla was once again presented with the two flags and asked to make her choice.

After carefully inspecting her options, the seal took her time before finally making her decision.

And in a welcome boost for nervous fans, she once again backed England.

The Cornish seal’s latest prediction has supporters hoping the Three Lions won’t be left high and dry when they take on the Leopards.

A spokesperson for the Cornish Seal Sanctuary in Gweek said: “Aayla is back with another World Cup prediction.

“She took her time with this one, but after carefully weighing up all her options, Aayla has stayed loyal to the boys and backed England once again.

“Could this be a sign of a late England win?

“We’ll have to wait and sea.”

England’s crunch World Cup knockout clash against DR Congo kicks off at 5pm on Wednesday (1 July).
