A luxury cabin that has been described as “really just a shed in the garden” is available for rent.
If you’re only looking to stay the night, it’s a cheap offer at £36 a night –or, to put it another way, around £1,100 a month.
Located in Pontypool, Wales, innovating hosts Richie and Hester decided to transform their former hot tub room into this unusual holiday let.
After using ‘the hot tub twice and [sticking] the thing on eBay’, the pair then gave the space a homely makeover – adding WiFi, power, heating, a TV, and lots of DVDs instead.

Complete with a double bed, your stay also comes with an adjacent kitchen and a ‘rustic’ WC shower.
Fitted with nature’s alarm clock, the garden is full of friendly poultry, prepared to feed you fresh eggs every morning.
The listing reads: “Think of the cabin like comfortable camping with a bed[,] electricity[,] wifi and heating – and no packing up!
“Whilst the cabin is not the Savoy we are at least friendly.

“Make yourself at home!”
Located in the South Wales valleys, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, the cabin provides an excellent pit stop for those looking for fantastic cycle routes and beautiful walks.
And the reviews speak for themselves, with guests loving the cabin.
