As he browses the shelves, he’s left gobsmacked at the prices, even spotting a tomato worth £40.
Once he discovers the hampers, which look to include an array of different fruits, the 26-year-old selects one and staff are quick to gift wrap the £500 hamper.
In a follow-up clip, Carmie describes opening up the hamper as “literally Christmas” before he shows off what’s inside.
Unwrapping the giant box, Carmie shows off the 12 fruits inside and says each comes in their “own designer bed”, when referring to their packaging.
Discussing the price, Carmie says: “The fact that there’s only 12 fruits in here and it cost that much is crazy.”

His haul included a large passionfruit, as well as eight of “the most expensive blueberries in the world” that look “absolutely massive” and in “perfect condition”
He rated them 9.5 out of 10, as reported by Whats The Jam.
It also featured “the most perfect orange” he’d ever seen, the “most expensive mango in the world”, a kiwi he rated 10/10, and a tomato that “comes in its own glass box” and “doesn’t even look real.”

The clip has since sparked a huge reaction online, with viewers baffled by the prices.
One user said: “Passion fruits are 50p from M&S btw.”
Another person wrote: “Why did bro spend £500 quid when he can just walk down the road to Tesco’s.”

One viewer added: “Why would anyone want to buy fruits for 500$?”
One person commented: “U can buy all of it for like less than 50 dollars btw.”

Another said: “Don’t try to justify the price.”
