A vintage motorbike belonging to a legendary Steve McQueen double is on sale for £6,000.

The motor was built by the historical British motorcycle marque Matchless Motorcycles.
And now it’s set for auction with Iconic Auctioneers in Shuttleworth, Bedfordshire.
“We are very excited to be bringing this ex-Bud Ekins bike to auction,” Dan Towers of Iconic Auctioneers told Whats The Jam.

“This is an amazing opportunity to pick up a piece of motorcycling history owned and ridden by the legend that is Bud Ekins.”

In 1971, Ekins and McQueen appeared together in the cult off-road film On Any Sunday.

Ekins also paired with McQueen to compete in West Coast desert races in the early 1960s.
