A rusty WW1 gun was found by stunned groundworkers digging up a driveway in a seaside town.
The revolver is believed to be a Webley Mk VI Revolver .38.
It was also found with live rounds.

The firearms were used across the British Empire between 1887 and 1963, as reported on What’s The Jam.
Early models were used during the Boer War, with their type dating back to WW1 when it was introduced in 1915.
The team from Isle Groundworks and Landscaping unearthed it at a house in Ramsgate, Kent, on Monday (22 Mar).
The gun was found in a slab of concrete along with 13 bullets.
The wooden grips were damaged, and the barrel was rusty.

The ammo has also discoloured over the last 110 years.
The workers alerted cops.
Kent Police have been approached for comment.
