Clare Thornton realised their trash can had gone missing.
They had put it out to be collected on bin day but then it vanished.

She turned sleuth and after checking CCTV, she and her colleagues were left in stitches.
Bin men could be seen loading the bin into the truck’s compactor, as normal, when suddenly the bin got stuck.
And despite their attempts to free it, it was crushed by the truck on Tuesday (4 Feb), in Eastleigh, Hampshire.

Shocked Claire said: “Our work bin disappeared, so we did some detective work and found the culprit.
“We thought it was funny because we went to put something in the bin and it had vanished, despite having been there earlier.

“It left us confused.”
The bin was collected by the private waste company, Veolia.
Clare also told What’s The Jam: “It was reported via their online portal and they responded to say they’d replace the bin.”

Veolia has been approached for comment.
