Gordon Ramsay is selling a £14 cheese dish at one of his restaurants – and the reviews are brutal.

The pricey burrata starter comes with pine nuts, datterini tomatoes, aubergine, basil and toasted ciabatta.

It is on the menu at Gordon Ramsay’s Plane Food, a restaurant on the departure side of Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport.

It is the latest blow for Ramsay after foodies mocked his £12 breakfast roll for missing a key ingredient.

The sandwich, which is being served at the TV chef’s Mayfair restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill, and consists of a toasted brioche bun, Cumberland sausage, egg and streaky bacon.

Customers slammed the bap for missing any kind of sauce.Ramsay recently promoted his new burrata starter online.

“Delicious burrata with datterini tomatoes, aubergine, pine nuts and toasted ciabatta, try before you fly at Heathrow t5!!” quipped the chef on Instagram.

Gian quipped: “I’m Italian so in my country the cost is: 3€ for the brutta, 0,25 cent for the tomato probably 1€ for the rest… V total price 4.45€ less than 3 pounds.”
