A Halloween superfan has revealed how she turns budget dolls into her very own coterie of little horrors.
Elli Lucas, 52, originally from Manchester, UK was first inspired after seeing similar creations online.
The traffic control supervisor’s dolls cost between £7.50 to £22.50 to make but the process can take a long time.

Each horror doll is one-of-a-kind – so far, she has made 16 of them.
“I love anything horror-themed,” Elli, who now lives in Port Hammond, told What’s The Jam.
“I had a desire to create my favourite horror characters using these little seven-inch dolls I came across at my local [discount store].
“Each doll is one-of-a-kind.
“I sew the clothing by hand and any characters requiring hair I also have to do by hand because the dolls don’t have hair.

“I buy wigs and often have to separate each weave to attach to the dolls head to make it look right.
“I use a combination of acrylic paints, dry watercolour pencils and markers to create the face.
“After that, I continue on to the hair, then the clothing and shoes, and lastly any accessories.”

Elli, who is an artist and creator, sources much of her material from Dollar Tree, a discount store chain.
She said: “I find so many supplies there and as a frugal shopper, the price is great.
“I also use materials I have found at second-hand stores and [use] old pieces of clothing from around my house.
“The first [doll] I made was Jason Voorhees (from Friday the 13th).
“He came out surprisingly good but I saw room for improvement here and there.
“After Jason, I went on to make Michael Myers and then Pennywise.
“I developed a thirst for it and found it therapeutic, relaxing and challenging all at the same time.
“Pretty soon, I started a list of characters I wanted to reproduce.
“My favourite so far has to be Pinhead and then Pennywise.”
Other characters that Elli has made include Chucky, Saw, Beetlejuice, Annabelle and Wednesday Addams.
The self-confessed Halloween superfan said: “I love the atmosphere, the spook and the adrenaline.
“As a child in the UK, we never celebrated Halloween – it was an American thing.”
The online response to her creations has been overwhelming.
She added: “I had so many people asking me to sell them, which of course I won’t because it’s my own personal collection.
“Friends and family love my horror babies.
“As Christmas approaches, I have plans to make Grinch babies.”
