A woman has broken a bizarre world record for fastest 100m barefoot run over LEGO.
Anyone who’s ever stood on a stray LEGO brick knows the sharp, unforgettable sting it delivers.
While most of us would do anything to avoid that pain, Gabrielle Wall decided to embrace it.

She trained herself to ignore the pain and sprint at speed across scattered bricks, as reported by What’s The Jam.
With grit– and some very tough soles – Gabrielle dashed into the record books completing the run in just 24.75 seconds.
The punishing track was built from 300 kilograms (661lbs) of LEGO bricks, generously donated by Imagination Station, a New Zealand charity that sparks creativity in children through hands-on robotics and engineering programs.
For Gabrielle, the record was more than just a stunt — it was a personal milestone.
After a health scare in 2022, she drew up a bucket list of challenges she wanted to conquer.

Now, with this quirky yet gruelling feat behind her, she says the experience was nothing short of “unforgettable.”
Gabrielle, from Christchurch, New Zealand, successfully did the sprint in January this year, with her achievement announced as an official record this week (4 Sep) by Guinness World Records.
