An ultra rare supercar – one of only five made – is set to sell for over £15m.
It will make it one of the top 20 priciest cars ever.
The Gordon Murray S1 LM can go 200mph.

The 4.3 litre, V12 engine provides 700bhp.
It gets its name from Gordon Murray, who designed the McLaren F1.
He wanted to go one better and improve on it.
It is being sold by RM Sotheby’s on 21 November in Las Vegas, Nevada, US.
The supercar is valued at over $20m (£15m), as reported on Whats The Jam.

The listing reads: “For the winning bidder, it will be like stepping back into the 1990s to sit beside Professor Gordon Murray to create their dream specification and testing of the modern incarnation of the most iconic supercar ever made.
“The buyer will collaborate directly with three-time Indianapolis 500 winner and chief development test driver, Dario Franchitti.
“Designed and engineered under the auspices of Professor Gordon Murray, the luminary designer responsible for the legendary McLaren F1.”

It adds: “Powered by a bespoke 4.3-litre naturally aspirated GMA Cosworth V-12 producing over 700 horsepower at 12,100 rpm, with a target featherweight of only 957 kilograms.
“And paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, the S1 LM represents the ultimate expression of peak analogue driving experience.
“Created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the McLaren F1 GTR’s legendary 1995 Le Mans victory, the S1 LM is the first and most significant supercar from Gordon Murray’s Special Vehicles Division, designed by the original architect and creator of the McLaren F1 LM.
“Like the five customer F1 LMs that celebrated Professor Gordon Murray’s legendary 1995 Le Mans win, the five S1 LMs will stand as the crown jewels of his modern era.”
The sale could slip it into the top 20 of the most expensive cars ever sold.
There are only that amount that have ever been flogged for more than £15m including a 1995 McLaren F1 and a 1956 Ferrari 290MM.
It is some way of the priciest ever though – a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe bought for £107m in 2022.
