A teenager has become rich overnight after winning a huge lottery jackpot.

Hyury Oliveira bought the $1m A Year For Life Spectacular ticket after stopping in at A&J Seabra supermarket on Tuesday (25 June).

He purchased it for $50.

The 19-year-old from Pompano Beach, Florida, was shocked after discovering he’d secured a prize from the scratch-off.

The game includes two top prizes of $1m A Year For Life and 234 prizes of $1m.

Hyury chose to receive his prize in a one-time lump-sum payment of $640,000.

He purchased the ticket at the store located at 839 West Sample Road in Deerfield Beach, as reported by What’s The Jam.
