A super rare 217mph Aston Martin – one of only 77 made – is set to sell for £1.18m.

The supercar boasts a staggering 7.3-litre V-12 engine.

The model is called the One-77 – in a nod to how many there are on the planet.

This was the 67th one off the production line.

It was made in 2011 but only has 2,744 miles on the clock – just 196 per year on average.

But it has had four previous owners.

It has a top speed of 217mph – or 350kmph.

And it boasts an impressive 750bhp.

It is being sold by RM Sotheby’s in Abu Dhabi on 5 December, as reported on Whats The Jam.
A spokesperson for the auctioneers said: “The One-77 hyper grand tourer was the ultimate expression of an Aston Martin for the 2010s.

“When the contemporaneous DBS, DB9, Vantage, and Rapide models in the range relied on an aluminium construction, this halo creation was built around a carbon fibre monocoque.

“The more familiar 5.9-litre V-12 engine was enhanced by Cosworth and enlarged to 7.3-litre capacity.

“Employing dry sump lubrication to be positioned lower down and further back, this much angrier powerplant delivered 750 horsepower via a six-speed automated-manual transaxle gearbox to return a top speed in excess of 350 km/h.

“As a 21st Century Aston Martin, the sculpted aluminium bodywork was truly breathtaking.

“Offered here is the 67th out of 77 examples of the One-77, which was marked complete by the factory on 27 March 2011.

“Elegantly configured with Blue Pearl White paintwork, the stunning exterior is capped off by 20-inch forged 10-spoke wheels finished in silver that conceal red callipers for the ventilated carbon ceramic brake discs.

“Meanwhile, the interior blends a black leather-trimmed dashboard and instrument binnacle with red leather for the door cards and red leather seats featuring white stitching, white piping, plus black and white inserts.”
