His distraught girlfriend could be seen rushing over and crouching beside him in a desperate attempt to find any sign of life.
Seconds later, he suddenly sat up, leaving her stunned and momentarily speechless.
He then dropped to one knee, produced a ring, and proposed, prompting her to cover her mouth in disbelief.
After she said yes, the couple kissed and embraced tightly as smiling onlookers filmed the moment.
The daring proposal, originally posted in 2023 but recently resurfacing online, was reportedly filmed in Lima, Peru, as reported by What’s The Jam.

One viewer commented: “If I did that, she’d most likely hit me before even asking if I’m all right.”

Another remarked: “Nice technique from the lad.”
And a third joked: “If my proposal isn’t going to be like that, I don’t want one at all.”
