A singer has been involved in a serious car accident while filming a music video for his latest release.
Peruvian vocalist Engerberth Tapia was filming in New York, US, when his vehicle collided with a truck.
The salsa star was recording a video for his song ‘Y lloro’ when the accident took place on Wednesday ( 12 Jun).

The clip shows Tapia being filmed by a man in the passenger seat as he drives along a road in New York.
He stops in the street before apparently being rammed in the rear by the truck.
Despite wearing his seatbelt in the video, Tapia said he was thrown from the vehicle due to the impact.
He took to social media the next day to reassure his fans that he wasn’t seriously injured in the accident.
He even travelled from the US to Spain to start the European leg of his latest tour.

The singer said: “First, I want to thank God for never letting go of my hand yesterday.
“I was thrown out of the car.
“Fortunately, an ambulance arrived immediately and I have already completed my medical examinations, thank God I’m okay.

“All the occupants of the vehicle are in optimal condition to continue my ‘La Fama World Tour’.
“I am already in Spain to share my salsa with all my compatriots from the old continent.
“Likewise, I want to thank you all for your love and concern for me.”
Tapia will perform concerts in Madrid and Barcelona today (14 June) and tomorrow (15 Jun) respectively.
He will then travel to Italy where he will remain until 23 June, as reported by What’s the Jam.
