Staff tried in vain to separate the pair as they exchanged punches in the fitness centre.

Other men working out then tried to split them up
One of the men, 20, later told police he had been a member for some time.
He said he had fallen out with the second man days earlier and they hadn’t spoken since.
On the day of the scrap, he said he spotted the other man “looking at and making fun of” him as he was exercising.
He said the man “started to attack” and responded to defend himself.
