An immaculate 90s Ferrari – one of the most desirable models ever made – is tipped to sell for £3.9m

This dazzling F50 is in exceptional condition, having spent over 20 years under the original owner, who cherished the ride.

It is one of just 349 numbered examples ever produced by the iconic motor manufacturer.

The ride is kitted out with a roaring 4.7-litre V-12 engine, developed through F1 and prototype sports car racing.

With a hair-raising top speed of 201mph, the F50 can go from nought to 60 in just 3.87 seconds.

The supercar – made in 1996 – only had two owners in total.

Benefiting from the lightweight carbon fibre, Kevlar, and Nomex honeycomb bodywork, the car can shift with ease.

The exterior is finished in the factory-grade Rosso Corsa over a Nero, with a Rosso interior.

The lucky buyer will be supplied with the proper flight case for the ‘targa’ top, as reported by Whats The Jam.

In 2018, the F50 was certified by Ferrari Classiche, with its own ‘Red Book’ included in the sale.

The Ferrari will head under the hammer at RM Sotheby’s Munich 2025 auction.

Bidding will open on 18 October.

A spokesperson for RM Sotheby’s said: “It should be noted that this F50’s authenticity is extremely well documented, with accompanying owner’s manuals.

“Including warranty booklet and rare ‘Direct Line’ Arc Transistance roadside two-year assistance plan booklet, previous Italian title, 2023 Cavalcade compliance check sheet, and service invoices accompanying the ‘Red Book’.

“Furthermore, factory production stickers remain affixed to the front and rear clamshells, and the car is supplied with the proper flight case for the ‘targa’ top.

“Awarded Ferrari Classiche certification and boasting a long-term original keeper as part of a short chain of ownership, this beautifully presented F50 is a particularly desirable example that would crown almost any modern performance collection or supercar gathering.”
