A farmer was left shocked after finding a valuable diamond in a private mine.
Dilip Mistry discovered the rare gem earlier this week (6 August).
He has since been told it’s worth a staggering £56,000, as reported by What’s The Jam.

Dilip found the jewel while with his three partners with the quartet set to make quite a bit of cash from it.
They said they felt immense joy at the discovery.
A local expert named Anupam Singh confirmed the diamond’s high quality.
It is set to be auctioned off with a 12.5% royalty deduction but the remaining amount will go to the quartet.
A video shows the gem glimmering in the light with Dilip proudly holding it up after submitting it to the district’s diamond officer.

The incredible discovery was made in Panna, India, which is famous for its diamond mines.
This is reportedly not the first time Dilip has stumbled upon such an incredible find.
Alongside his partners, the quartet have previously unearthed several diamonds from the same mine – though did not reveal how much these were worth.
