A nursery worker can finally use the toilet again after the snake she found lurking in her bog was captured and returned to its owner.
Kacey Leigh almost jumped out of her skin when she spotted the reptile in her bathroom earlier this month.
The 21-year-old ran to fetch her boyfriend Harvey – who initially didn’t believe her – and called the RSPCA to retrieve it.

But when a representative arrived to help out, they discovered the snake had gone back down the pipes.
Now the reptile has been found in the couple’s garden.
“Harvey went into the garden to clean the rabbits hutch,” Kacey, from Burnley, told What’s The Jam.
“I could hear him screaming and turns out he found it in the rabbit tunnel going for his foot.
“He picked it up with gloves on and got hold of its tail.

“We can finally use the toilet again.
“We got hold of the owner, she messaged me after it had disappeared in the toilet.
“Turns out she lives a few doors down.

“The snake had never escaped before.”
The 13-year-old snake was returned to the owner who came and picked up the animal on 3 February.
The unwanted guest is most likely a corn snake which are common pets across the nation.
They can grow to almost 6ft long.
Native to the US, the non-venomous predators are known to kill prey via constriction.
The snake seemed fine with both the owner and Kacey relieved that the situation has now been resolved.
