The team at a mini golf tour were shocked after finding a groundhog hiding among the stuffed toys in a claw machine.
After discovering the creature, staff at Meadows Family Fun Mini Golf swiftly got to work rescuing it.
They called the gaming commission for assistance and Warden Zaffuto rushed over, as reported by What’s The Jam.

Thankfully, he managed to release the groundhog, which is now safe and sound.
“Who doesn’t love the claw machine game? They have the best prizes! From a cute stuffed animal to a football, or maybe rubber duckies, or a groundhog… wait, a WHAT?” said Pennsylvania Game Commission-Southcentral Region said.
“Employees at the Meadows Family Fun Mini Golf in Duncansville, Blair County were startled by an unusual ‘prize’ inside one of their claw machine games.
“State Game Warden Salvadore Zaffuto was called to respond to a groundhog that found its way inside the vending machine and in turn could not find its way out.
“When Warden Zaffuto responded and approached the machine, he saw a wave of stuffed animals move as the groundhog scurried around underneath, then it popped its head out to assess the situation.”

The story has gone viral and the animal has since captured people’s hearts online.
