A cat’s mugshot has gone viral after the feisty feline was ‘arrested’ for attacking cops.
Police officer Da Parinda Pakeesuk said the American Shorthair cat was brought into the station by a local resident.
Officer Pakeesuk, an animal lover who has rescued around 30 cats and dogs over the years, welcomed the lost moggy into the station and vowed to take care of her for the night.

But the feisty little cat, wearing an adorable pink harness, apparently didn’t appreciate the warm gesture.
She scratched and bit several on-duty cops, including Officer Pakeesuk.
As a result, he followed protocols and duly charged the moggy.
He posted a photo of the naughty feline on Facebook with the message: “This cat has been charged with assaulting police officers and is about to be detained.
“Please share this post so her owner can come and bail her out.”
The police didn’t hear from the owner that evening so Officer Pakeesuk took her home for the night.
He shared another snap of the cat, named Nub Tang, meaning ‘counting money’, looking angry in the back of his car.
The animal lover already had a cosy set-up of litter trays, toys and food at his home for unexpected guests such as Nub Tang.
He joked: “She is living her best life while the police are the true victims.”
The cat’s owner then reached out to the police station the following day.
They greeted Nub Tang with a brand new lace collar.
But the moggy wasn’t allowed to return home until she had been processed.
Nub Tang posed for a mugshot and ‘signed’ a police report with two paws.
The report stated: “I was just hungry, I did not mean to bite anyone.”
Officer Pakeesuk issued a verbal warning to Nub Tang, advising her to be better behaved in the future.
She was then allowed to leave with her owner.
The cop said the cat had learned an “important lesson”.
He added with a smile: “This case must be handled properly, we cannot have other cats thinking that biting people is acceptable.”
He shared the images on his Facebook page where they went viral with over 23,000 reactions and 12,000 shares, as reported by What’s The Jam.
One local said: “The suspect is so cute.”
“Wow, paw prints too,” added another.
A third remarked: “Look at her face, hahaha.”
In an update today (4 Aug), Officer Pakeesuk said: “The owner message me to say the cat now has a litter of kittens.”
