Harry Jones, Tesco frozen category buying manager, said: “Our frozen range offers fantastic-quality, great-value options designed to bring some excitement to mealtimes.
“We know our customers will love our autumn range, full of winter warmers for those cosy nights in, bake-at-home bakery products, dishes, decadent desserts and branded products.”
Nancy Chen, co-chief executive of Mr Chen’s, said growing demand for Asian food made it the right time to launch the brand in Britain.
She said: “As shoppers continue to explore diverse flavours that offer convenience, and with Asian cuisine growing in popularity, the timing feels right to introduce our range of Asian-inspired, restaurant-quality recipes to the Tesco freezer aisle.”
Availability will vary between stores, with some products only launching in selected branches.
