A café selling a Vegemite latte has left social media users raging.
Poles Patisserie Penrith often share their delicious pastries, tarts, cakes, sausage rolls and coffee with their 81,000 followers on Instagram.
But this time, they’ve left people disgusted, rather than drooling, reports What’s The Jam.

In a clip, which has racked up 1.9m views and over 10,000 likes, they debut their new menu item – a Vegemite latte.
A barista can be seen putting the Vegemite into the bottom of a coffee cup.
They then top it with a freshly brewed espresso, followed by the frothed milk.
They say that it isn’t that weird to them and that it must be an “Australian thing.”

Since posting, users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions – with people left horrified.
Paige said: “I’m Australian and I have NEVER heard of this, this is gross.”
Shane added: “Nonchalantly saying “must be an Australian thing” is peak rage bait.”

The café, located in Sydney, Australia, has continued to back their Vegemite inspired beverage, and don’t plan on taking it off the menu any time soon.
