Balenciaga has been ridiculed for selling £4,490 lingerie which is to be worn as streetwear.
The women’s Trimpe L’oeil pantaleggings are black stockings and suspenders.
But they are bizarrely attached to high heel shoes.

They are styled with just frilly knickers and a bra bodice.
The model is also clutching a black leather handbag and wearing dark sunglasses.
One customer joked: “It is quite some look.
“I can’t imagine many Brit girls would want to wear that on the High Street.
The odd garment is part of the wacky fashion chain’s new Summer 2025 collection.

The description reads: “Trompe l’Œil Pantaleggings T36 in black lingerie and light beige stretch fabric.
“Pants with shoes attached.
“Stretch fabric, Trompe l’oeil, lingerie and skin effect

“High waist, elasticated anti-slip waistband.
“Flex shoe model, 110mm arch.”
It adds: “Hand wash, avoid strong friction.
“Wash fabric parts only, do not tumble dry, do not dry clean.
Two years ago, Balenciaga started selling a skirt that looked like a towel wrapped around the wearer for £695.
The fashion line is popular with A-listers like Kim Kardashian and England and Man City ace Jack Grealish.
Yet it faced a backlash in 2022, for using kids and bondage bears in an ad campaign, as reported by What’s The Jam.
