A major supermarket is rolling out a limited-time discount on fuel to shops across the UK.
Tesco is offering drivers 5% off petrol and diesel as fuel prices continue to squeeze household budgets.
Shoppers who spend at least £60 in a single in-store transaction by Funday, August 16, will receive a money-off fuel coupon.
The voucher can be redeemed at more than 500 Tesco-branded filling stations across the UK until Funday, August 23, as reported by What’s The Jam.

Tesco says the 5% discount is currently worth as much as 8p off every litre of unleaded petrol or diesel.
However, the saving will depend on the price displayed at the pump and how much fuel a customer buys.
Based on Tesco’s advertised figure of up to 8p per litre, a driver buying 45 litres would save £3.60.
A 50-litre fill-up would be £4 cheaper, while somebody adding 55 litres could keep £4.40 in their pocket.
The deal will therefore be most valuable to customers who were already planning to spend £60 on groceries, as buying unnecessary items purely to secure the coupon could outweigh any fuel saving.

Tesco’s promotion is a percentage reduction rather than a guaranteed flat 8p cut, meaning customers should check the saving printed on their coupon.
To qualify, the £60 must be spent in one in-store transaction before the August 16 deadline.
The coupon must then be used by August 23, giving shoppers only a limited window to claim the saving.

The supermarket said the offer formed part of a series of initiatives introduced for customers this summer.
These include Freebie Thursdays, which gives Clubcard members coupons for complimentary products, and an extension of its Kids Eat Free offer at Tesco cafés.
Tesco also expanded its Aldi Price Match scheme into more than 2,000 Express convenience stores earlier this year.
