Three women on a rural training run turned ram-bo when they dove into a lake to save a drowning sheep.
Aimee Turpie, Britney Lawrence and Abi Cox had the un-ewe-sual encounter during a 5km jog.
The pals were training for next year’s London marathon when they saw the sheep run into the water to escape a dog.

And they plunged in without hesitation.
The incident happened at Siblyback Lake, Bodmin Moor, Cornwall.
Aimee said at first they thought it was two dogs playing.
“The lake is quite deep and the poor sheep was just swimming around in circles,” she told What’s The Jam.
“It was in there for about six or seven minutes before we realised it was still in the water.

“Then it was another few minutes before we got to it.
“It kept swimming round in circles.
“I don’t know if it thought the dog was still there.

“But it was getting further and further out all the time.”
After diving in, the pals managed to get the animal back to dry land.
Abi said she had no doubts about going into the lake when she saw the sheep struggling.
She said: “To be honest, I didn’t really think about it and just dived into the water.
“The sheep looked like it was so exhausted and I think it would have died if it had stayed there much longer.
“When we got to it, we could feel the sheep was trying to float and as soon as we got it back to dry land, it just fell to the floor.
“If it had been someone’s dog in the water, no-one would thought twice about trying to help it.”
