Rare sports memorabilia is going up for auction – including tatty football match day programmes set to reach up to £4,500.
The listing includes a collection of football items, but also goods from cricket and boxing, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Listed by Midlands Sports Auctions, the three-day event is set to take place between the 14- 16 April.

Part of the collection includes a programme from a 3-3 draw between Everton vs Manchester United that took place on 23 April 1910 at Goodison Park.
It is reportedly “one of the earliest Manchester United programmes to come up for sale in recent years.”
It has a current bid of £3,000.
Another “ultra-rare” programme from a Sunderland vs Manchester United from the 1947-1948 season is estimated to reach a whopping £4,500 at auction.
It is described as one of the hardest post-war programmes for a collector to obtain.
A poster from the 1957 European Cup semi-final between Real Madrid and Manchester is also up for grabs.
The extremely rare item is set to go for around £1,300 at auction.
A part of FA cup history is also listed: the official match day programme of the 1913 final.
Meanwhile, the relic from Aston Villa’s win over Sunderland in the final is set to be worth over £500.
Speaking about the European Cup poster, Midlands Sports Auctions said: “This is a very rare item of Man Utd memorabilia, no programme was issued so there are very few items available for this game.
“Poster comes with a letter direct from Real Madrid when sending the poster, translation into English is shown.”
