Christmas has come early for film buffs with deep pockets.
Batman’s Batpod, the bike ridden by Christian Bale’s Caped Crusader, is expected to sell for up to £900,000 at auction.
It leads a treasure trove of more than 1,400 film and TV props and costumes worth an estimated £10million.

Fans can also bid on Indiana Jones’ bullwhip, Jon Snow’s Longclaw sword and Christopher Reeve’s evil Superman costume.
The Batpod appeared in The Dark Knight (2008) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
Experts have matched it to The Joker chase scene in The Dark Knight using marks and scratches along its right-hand side.
It carries a pre-sale estimate of £450,000 to £900,000.
Bale’s complete Batsuit from Batman Begins (2005) is also up for grabs, with an estimate of £125,000 to £250,000.
Indiana Jones fans have plenty to fight over too.
A fedora and shirt worn by Harrison Ford’s stunt double, Vic Armstrong, in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) are expected to fetch £400,000 to £800,000.
The pair were likely also worn in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
The hat was made specially for Temple of Doom and has been matched to the scene where the spiked ceiling comes crashing down.
It’s the first time the items have gone on sale, coming straight from Armstrong’s personal collection.
He’s recognised by Guinness World Records as the “most prolific film stuntman”, and performed some of the trilogy’s most daring stunts, including leaping from a galloping horse onto a tank in The Last Crusade.
Indy’s eight-foot bullwhip from Temple of Doom is estimated at £200,000 to £400,000.
Game of Thrones fans can bid on Jon Snow’s hero Longclaw sword, used by Kit Harington across all eight seasons, which could go for £50,000 to £100,000.
One of Daenerys Targaryen’s dragon eggs, gifted to Emilia Clarke’s character before her dragons were born, is estimated at £20,000 to £40,000.
Elsewhere, Christopher Reeve’s evil Superman costume from Superman III (1983) could fetch up to £260,000.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Atlantean sword from Conan the Barbarian (1982) and Hugo Weaving’s costume, mask and knives from V for Vendetta (2005) are each estimated at £75,000 to £150,000.
And a costume worn by Madonna in Who’s That Girl (1987) could sell for up to £30,000.
The three-day sale is being run by memorabilia auction house Propstore from December 4 to 6.
The first day will be held at BAFTA in Piccadilly, London, with bidders also able to take part online, by phone or in advance.
Fans can see highlights up close at a free exhibition at The Cumberland Hotel in London from November 19 to 22.
The Batpod will be on display in the hotel’s lobby from November 9 to 29.
Stephen Lane, founder and CEO of Propstore, said: “The Batpod is an extraordinary feat of filmmaking and engineering, and a spectacular centerpiece for Propstore’s Winter Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction.
“Bringing together Indiana Jones’ fedora, shirt, and bullwhip in the same catalog is particularly exciting.
“These pieces define one of cinema’s most recognizable characters, and offering all three in a single auction is an extraordinary opportunity for collectors.
“With the fedora and shirt coming directly from legendary stunt performer Vic Armstrong’s personal collection, they also tell the story of the remarkable stunt work behind the adventure.
“We can’t wait to find new homes for these relics with collectors who will treasure their place in film history.”
