A stunning venue is giving one lucky couple a chance to win a wedding worth £12,000.

Celia Gaze, the founder of The Wellbeing Farm, announced the one-off competition last month.

She said after an extremely successful year in business, she wanted to give back to others.

The prize is worth a grand total of £12,000 and includes exclusive hire of the venue from 1pm until 1am, a two course wedding feast, a prosecco toast complete with evening nibbles, and a firepit with marshmallows.

The couple will be able to be joined by 50 guests and will have access to professional wedding planners, as well as three planning meetings.

The Wellbeing Farm can also provide some rather unusual additional guests that you might not find elsewhere – bow-tie wearing llamas.

“Every wedding is different, every couple we work with has their own ideas, values, hopes and dreams for the special day and to be able to play our small part in that is truly rewarding,” Celia, from Preston, told What’s The Jam.

“Let’s face it though, the biggest factor for many will be the cost.

“We’ve taken care of a lot of that and in fact, we can help with pretty much every aspect of it, leaving our lucky winners to just enjoy their day!”

Celia’s award-winning venue, based in Edgeworth, Gloucestershire, has recently received major national recognition as one of the most recommended __cpLocations by newlyweds in the UK.

The sustainability-focused business runs events from team-building activity days, to private parties and weddings.

Celia added: “Weddings are never simple to plan or execute so we thought we would celebrate our success by sharing the load.

“It is 12 years since we launched as a venue and let’s just say the number ‘13’ doesn’t augur well as a prospect, so we thought why not launch this now and create an unforgettable wedding for one lucky couple worth £12,000?

“Plus, the number 12 resonates with the themes of completeness, harmony, creativity and self-expression.

“We love that – which other venues have bow-tie-wearing llamas?!”

Celia worked high up in the NHS for many years, experiencing stress and burnout, before switching careers.

Her partner happened to have a run down farm and when one day she asked him if she could bulldoze it, he replied: “If you want.”

From then on, Celia made it her mission to upcycle as much furniture as possible. Even the parachutes that are used in the barn are from World War II.

The venue has been many different things, from having lots of pigs and being an open farm.

But everything changed when Celia had the crazy idea of putting a bow tie on a llama.

It now stands proudly as a wedding, corporate and events venue that puts experience at the heart of everything.

To enter the competition, couples can go to The Wellbeing Farm’s website and click ‘Enter Here’.
