John Lewis is selling Valentine’s gifts over FOUR MONTHS before the most romantic day of the year.
The department store giant has a range of presents for customers to buy for their loved ones.
They are being sold on its website under the heading ‘Valentine’s Day Love’.

It includes lingerie, chocolates, perfumes and cards.
They even have a budget option to purchase gifts for under £20.
And bizarrely kitchen products, like cooking pots, are also advertised.
But it has gone on sale before Halloween and Christmas.
It is over four months until Valentine’s Day which is on February 14.

One shopper told What’s The Jam: “The shops are selling things earlier and earlier each year.
“How can customers be expected to think about Valentine’s Day before Halloween and Christmas?
“It’s ridiculous.”

It comes after supermarkets and shops started selling festive food in the summer.
In August, Home Bargains in Manchester was slated for selling Christmas stock before kids had even finished the school holidays.
Morrisons in Fleet, Hampshire, was doing the same.
John Lewis has been approached for comment.
