A popular coffee shop chain has banned students from studying at the weekend.
Black Sheep Coffee, on Broad Street in Reading, has enforced the ban from 12pm Friday until 7pm Sunday.
According to the store, customers have complained about a lack of tables available on weekends due to university students taking them up.

A sign in the window reading “no laptop, no tablet, no study” was captured by a medical student.
The student, who asked to remain anonymous, took the image on 15 February, as reported by What’s The Jam.
She said: “Working in a café can be much more productive and give a change of environment for a short time, when you’ve been studying at home or at university for hours.
“We love to have a sweet treat and matcha to keep up our energy with the workload we have as final years.
“We were disappointed to not get our matcha this weekend, but overall understand Black Sheep’s decision to restrict working in these hours.”

The public have been left split on the controversial ban.
Prisila said: “Are people who go to study at cafes supposed to buy one drink per hour to stay there 3-4 hours.”
Erin added: “I could understand people who would sit and chat for hours but students in session?

“Not everyone has a nice place to study or a library available around.”
One stated: “Love how students don’t have any spaces.”
Another added: “This makes perfect sense? Study at home? A library?”
One said: “As someone who uses a café to study because our library isn’t open on weekends this would hurt.”
