A sorry-looking community Christmas tree has been mocked by locals.
The festive fir is sparsely decorated with a few baubles, tinsel and fairy lights.
One resident joked it looked like it was assembled with a £10 budget.

The tiny tree has been encased in security railings, as reported by What’s The Jam.
He joked no one would come and steal it, but hoped someone would.
It is located outside a parade of shops – including a barber’s and off-licence in a small pedestrianised area off the A200 in Deptford, Lewisham, southeast London.
One angry local said: “What the f*ck.
“This is the first time I admit I am ashamed to be from Lewisham.

“What the hell.
“It looks like its been put together by kids in nursery
“To make matters worse they even barricaded this s*it”

He added in his rant: “Like anyone is going to come and steal this
“This looks like they had a £10 budget and had to find anything.
“Someone come and steal this immediately.”
Vik Singh added: “Mad.”
Deptford Society, a local community group, advertised the tree light switch earlier this month.
Locals were invited to come down for the event with “music and snacks.”
