If you’re feeling the post-Glastonbury blues, don’t worry – the “most beautiful festival in the UK” is on the horizon, and tickets are still available.

Valley Fest, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, has earned accolades for its breathtaking setting, being dubbed the “best view of any UK festival” by social media fans.

This enchanting festival takes place at Chew Valley Lake, a picturesque reservoir in Somerset and the fifth largest lake in the country. Adding a touch of history, the lake was inaugurated by the late Queen Elizabeth II in 1956.

For those who love to dance, DJ sets from Phil Hartnol, Mungo’s Hi-fi, Chainska Brassika, and Supalung will keep the energy high throughout the night.

Valley Fest also offers a variety of daytime activities, including comedy shows and cooking classes led by celebrated chef Romy Gill MBE, alongside a diverse selection of street food vendors.

There’s even a Junior Jungle mini rave to introduce kids to the festival atmosphere early on.

“Eclectic as ever – from pop to rock, disco to DJs and everything in between, everyone needs to get on my land and celebrate our big birthday,”

he said. “Packed with wholesome fun, families – you’ll find something for your toddlers, teens, parents, and grandparents.”

This year, he aims to include an educational element with talks on regenerative farming, land and soil care demonstrations, and welding workshops for all ages.

Arcadia’s Alchemist Playground will offer unique opportunities to create and build using recycled military materials.

As night falls, a Rolls Royce jet engine known as an ‘Afterburner’ will light up the festival with flames and cutting-edge performances, including the electrifying ‘Lord of Lightning’ act.
