A flock of greedy seagulls swooped in to ruin a seaside picnic after a group of people cracked open some snacks on a beach.
The students had settled down for a lazy afternoon by the sea in Brighton.
But they were set upon by the birds just moments after opening bags of crisps and sandwiches.

Mark Reynolds was at the beach as well.
The 56-year-old journalist snapped photos of the gulls dive-bombing the terrified group as they tried in vain to protect their food.
The sun was blazing down around 5pm on 8 July when the feathered menaces launched their ambush, as reported by What’s The Jam.
One girl can be seen flailing her arms while others duck for cover as the birds make off with crisps in their beaks.
Most Brighton locals know to keep their food hidden, but the gulls have no problem helping themselves the moment they spot an easy target.
