Russ Cook – aka the Hardest Geezer – has joked about his book launch woes after the first review branded it a ‘load of tosh’.

The 27-year-old got his moniker after running the length of Africa.

He covered 10,000 miles across 16 countries in 352 days and finished in April.

Despite being a favorite of the nation, one reviewer couldn’t resist leaving a trolling comment on launch day.

The anonymous review stated: “Load of tosh.

“The man’s legacy is built on the foundations of fraud; of a dog he had with him on that journey.

“He’d just sit in the comfy van, and then get out and run a bit when the dog got tired.

“Could never be me.”

Russ gave the review a blunt response stating: “Book launch day going well.”

It launched on 24 October on platforms such as Amazon, as reported by What’s The Jam.

Fans of Russ Cook were left in stitches by the comment.
