A retired handyman had built a life-size replica of a Spitfire in his garage.
Rikki Scott built the iconic version of the WW2 fighter plane using the instructions for an Airfix model.
Neighbours in his residential street were stunned after a three-quarter scale replica of a Mark V Spitfire appeared on a drive.

The 76-year-old spent three years making it by hand.
He constructed it in his single-car garage in Torquay, Devon.
It carries the insignia of the RAF Polish squadron.
He told What’s The Jam: “The plane is based on the plane flown by a Polish fighter pilot.
“It took me about three years but I worked on it less in the winter months because it’s cold in the garage.
“It was a real labour of love.”
Neighbour and retired pilot Barrie James, 88, saw it while was passing.
“I was astounded to see the Spitfire on the drive,” he said.
“It is an outstanding machine that has been skillfully crafted.
“I’m a pilot so I loved seeing the Spitfire built by Rikki.”
