Leaving their car in the parking area at the festival, Becky, of Horsham, West Sussex decided to leave a cooler box with a bottle of cider in it.
The couple listened to iconic acts such as Dua Lipa, Coldplay and Shania Twain.
But the cider bottle exploded whilst inside the cooler, with the liquid splashing all across the inside of the vehicle.
The huge bottle managed to drench the entirety of Becky’s car’s interior making for a massive sticky mess.
The cider covered the roof, steering wheel, dashboard and both the seats, giving Becky and Jamie quite the uncomfortable drive home.
The pair had to make a three hour journey back home in the booze soaked motor, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Becky – sales and account support admin – said: “A Glastonbury tip for you all do not leave your cooler in the car.”
“My car is now covered in cider and extremely sticky.
“I’m just glad I wasn’t driving when this went off.”
Other Glastonbury goers were shocked by Becky’s unfortunate cider accident.

Chris Singer added: “Holy cider exploding coolers, I’ve seen it all now!”
Helen Burton stated: “That is going to stink.”
Nick Fox said: “Oh yuck, sticky.”
