A tearoom is selling an Easter egg for £375 – the most expensive in the UK.
The luxury chocolate is made to order by the company popular with celebrities.
Betty’s Cafe Tea Rooms is based in upmarket Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Comic Jason Manford and TV star Giovanna Fletcher – wife of McFly star Tom – are fans.

Dubbed ‘Betty’s Grande Easter Egg’, it weighs a whopping 5.4kg and is 55cm high.

It has 576 calories per 100g – this is a massive 31,104 calories in total.
The egg-spensive chocolate is made from “Grand Cru Swiss chocolate.”
This comes from “prized Venezuelan criollo cocoa beans.”

Chocolatiers have hand-piped stemmed flowers onto the front of the egg with icing.
But chocolate fans will need to plan ahead to order as the egg takes a recommended two-week lead time.
The description reads: “Celebrating the creativity and craft that makes Bettys unique, our handmade Grande Easter Egg continues a tradition stretching back more than a century when our founder Frederick Belmont designed eggs which were ornately embellished with hand-piped icing designs.

“Containing over five kilos of Grand Cru Swiss chocolate made from prized Venezuelan criollo cocoa beans, the Grande Easter Egg is a true work of art, showcasing the highest skills of our chocolatiers and cake decorators.
”Each Grande Easter Egg carries an array of delicate, individually crafted spring blooms and foliage including primroses, narcissi and pansies, with hand-piped stems as a final perfect touch.”
For those who don’t want to fork out hundreds of pounds on an Easter egg, the tea room offers a smaller version for an eye-watering £38.50.
