A super-rare Porsche 911 worth a whopping £800,000 is set to go under the hammer – and there are only five like it in the world.

The stunning 1995 993 Turbo Cabriolet was custom-built by the brand’s Exclusive Department.

Just 14 were made, with only five in right-hand drive – like the one being sold.

Under the bonnet sits a roaring Type M64/50 3.6-litre turbo engine, capable of hitting 174mph.

And it can sprint from 0–60mph in just 3.7 seconds, as reported by Whats The Jam.

The sleek soft-top boasts 360 brake horsepower and is in near-pristine condition, showing only 8,262 miles on the clock.

Voted “Sports Car of the Year” by Auto Motor and Sport magazine in Germany back in 1995, it’s now considered a true collector’s gem.

Auctioneers have described the car as a “unicorn” – with Iconic Auctioneers setting an £800,000 guide price ahead of the sale on 8 November at the NEC in Birmingham.

A spokesperson for Iconic Auctioneers said: “The 993 was the final generation of air-cooled 911s, and as such will always have a special place in the affections of Porsche enthusiasts.

“It is also widely said to be the last of the 911s that were built at a time when engineering standards overruled accounting concerns at Porsche.

“These ‘unicorn’ cars rarely come on to the open market, with only a few, in recent years, in France and America, commanding more than £1,000,000 – and with good reason, given their scarcity and exclusivity.
