A ‘Mission: Impossible’ plane has been spotted swooping over a sleepy Welsh village.
Residents of Old Colwyn, in Conwy, would be forgiven for thinking they were in a Tom Cruise film after the RAF C1 A400M Atlas thundered overhead on Monday (12 August).
The mighty plane is the same type of aircraft used for a famous stunt in ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’, as reported by What’s The Jam.

In the scene, Cruise is filmed hanging off the chassis as it takes off into the sky.
Cruise performed the daring stunt after being securely tied to the four-engine military transporter.
And although he wasn’t involved in the flight over Conwy, locals were still impressed.
The aircraft flew low over the top of residents with its rear cargo door open and troops visible inside.
A stunned Jayne Lowe said: “Omg yeah saw this at Champney shopping centre Llandudno.

“Thought honestly it was going to land or crash.
“Amazing but frightening at the same time.”
Jane Cooper said: “It hovered over Llandulas beach.

“I went past on A55.
“Gutted couldn’t take pics.
“Absolutely massive.”
And Philip Williams added: “I saw the Atlas C1 too whilst walking up Wyn Avenue North.
“I looked around to see it flying very low, around 100ft – incredible.”
