One local said she thought the yellow lines on the verges were early daffodils.
But on closer inspection she realised it was paint.

The double kerb markings are to stop parking or loading at any time.
They were spotted in Botany Road, in Broadstairs, Kent.
The markings are put in because the area becomes gridlocked in the summer as tourists flock to popular Botany Bay.
One resident said today (7 Mar): ”I thought the daffodils had come out.
“But then I noticed they had painted over the weeds and grass as they couldn’t be bothered to clear the kerbs.”
Another told What’s The Jam: “How to do a really s*it job.
“They arrived and couldn’t even be bothered to scrape back the weeds.
“They simply painted them as well.”
Thanet District Council has been approached for comment.
