The 25-year-old found stunning stained glass windows, high ceilings and portraits of Jesus.
But after spotting a flight of stairs leading under the main room, he found something more sinister, as reported by What’s The Jam.
“This is crazy, I’ve never explored a chapel that’s had a morgue underneath it,” he said.
“It must have been a very tiny morgue for them to have one stainless steel table and two body fridges.”
Jamie shared the video of the chapel, which was located in Italy, on 1 May.
He could be seen arriving at the property with fellow explorers Mr Airborne and Ben.
In the video, which attracted 14,500 views, viewers get a sinister feel from the get-go.
Jamie, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, said: “I’m exploring this abandoned chapel that apparently has a morgue underneath it.
“It’s proper easy to get in, so I hope this place hasn’t been smashed up.
“It’s currently pitch black outside – by the time we got here, it was nighttime.
“It actually looks so nice.
“I don’t know how chapels like this end up going to waste.
“The wall has lots of religious photos hanging up on it.”
The main room – known as the nave – had wooden chairs lined up beside each other.
And while some of the room had been smashed up, much of it was still intact.
Jamie added: “Look at the detail in the roof with all the paintings and pictures.
“This place is beautiful.”
His followers agreed that the location had a spooky atmosphere.
Viktorija said, “Gives me eerie vibes.”
A second person said: “Nope.”
“Wow, creepy place,” Rose added.
Sarah said: “I would’ve loved to have had a bit of a closer look at the machines at the side of the slab table.”
