In contrast, Wilko sells 2m of Plain Foil Wrapping Paper in yuletide colours for just £1.

UK customers will have to fork out an additional £4.95 for delivery — nearly half the cost of the wrapping paper itself.

Those ordering from Europe will pay £11 in shipping fees, while royal fans in the US and Canada face a hefty £20 charge.

Shipping to anywhere else in the world is priced at a staggering £30 — three times the cost of the paper.

The wrapping paper, made in the UK, is said to bring “charm” to your festive gifts.

The green background, decorated with an “elegant” gold image inspired by the façade of Windsor Castle, one of the late Queen Elizabeth’s favourite royal residences.
