King Charles is on the lookout for a new chef at his country estate.
But he’s keeping quiet about how much the job pays.
His Majesty wants someone with a “knowledge of and interest in many different styles of food and service” to join the kitchen team at Sandringham, Norfolk.

The job ad says the ideal candidate will be “skilled and passionate” and ready to get stuck in with everything from cooking up seasonal dishes to creating new menus and doing stock checks.
But despite the long list of duties, the salary remains under wraps, as reported by What’s The Jam.
The successful applicant will report to Sandringham’s head chef and must agree on menu presentation guidelines.

The description adds: “The chef should oversee the use and maintenance of all equipment, notifying the Head Chef of all breakages and equipment failures.
“Staff should be trained in the use of equipment, especially potentially dangerous equipment and shown how to look after it so that nothing is abused, life is prolonged, and expenditure saved.”

The rota runs Monday to Saturday, with some Sunday and Bank Holiday shifts required.
Sandringham Estate has been the private country retreat of the Royal Family since 1862 and sits in 24 hectares of gardens fit for a King.
