King Charles wants to hire someone to make saddles for his horses.
His Majesty has about 30 horses which are used for ceremonial occasions.
They are kept at The Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace.

But he now needs some to make saddles and harnesses for The King’s carriage horses.
Applicants who have an “exceptional attention to detail” and are capable of creating “flawless results” are needed.
The salary isn’t confirmed but is described as “competitive.”
Similar roles usually have a salary of between £26,000 to £31,000 per year.
But it is only a part-time job of about 24 hours per week.

Typically, it will be three weekdays but some weekend working is required.
The job advert reads: “The Royal Mews is responsible for looking after and training The King’s carriage horses, as well as taking care of all the carriages and coaches, tack and equipment.
“By joining this team of unique experts, you’ll help produce, repair and maintain all types of harness and saddles.

“The standards you aim for will provide the biggest challenge, as well as ample opportunity to hone your skills.
Your craftsmanship will uphold and take forward centuries of tradition.
“And, seeing the results of your work in action at events will give the greatest sense of reward.”
It adds: “You’ll be responsible for the general presentation of harness and saddlery, hand stitching and finishing pieces to a consistently high standard.
“Repairing a wide range of leatherwork, you’ll assess needs, and use suitable methods, handling every item with precision and care.
“You’ll also renew and repair carriage leatherwork, preserving both function and quality.
“From leather cutting to assembly, you’ll produce complete harness sets for a variety of purposes.
“This will include pieces for events and state ceremonies, and pair and team harnesses.”
Applicants will need to have some relevant training, as reported on What’s The Jam.
The job ad continues: “You’ll be a highly competent craftsman, confident in the use of hand tools and handling traditional techniques and materials.
“With exceptional attention to detail, you’ll be able pick out the fine detail and colour accuracy in precision work.
“This, coupled with patience and a steady hand, will be essential in delivering flawless results.”
The job comes with 25 days of holiday every year.
